Patient Care Supervisor - Toledo Hospital - Adult Inpatient Trauma and Ortho

Position Summary:

• Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to the inpatient nursing unit(s).
• Coordinates high quality patient care on assigned unit(s).
• Provides staff support through facilitation, coaching, and role-modeling leadership behaviors, which enhance quality patient care, safety for staff/patients, excellent customer service, and fosters employee development.
• Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of ProMedica Health System. Reports to the Clinical Manager, Nursing Services.

** This position will actively support both the Inpatient Adult Trauma Unit and Orthopedic Unit **

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required or must be obtained within 3-year time frame. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Skills: Problem-solving, organizational skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to function independently and as an integral member of various teams. Must display a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Years of Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year in nursing in a patient care area.
• License: Must be an RN with a current licensure in the State of Ohio and/or Michigan Certification: BLS, ACLS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Master’s degree
