As a Program Owner on the Building Exterior Asset and Disaster Response team, you will drive day-to-day execution of programs that maintain and preserve Target’s building shell, including roofing and building envelope, across Stores and Global Supply Chain locations. This role is focused on delivering consistent, high-quality execution through strong vendor coordination, clear communication, and disciplined program management.
You will partner closely with Property Management Field Teams, Stores, Global Supply Chain, and vendor partners to ensure work is planned, activated, and completed efficiently with minimal disruption to operations. You are responsible for keeping work moving, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring alignment between field teams and vendors to deliver against program expectations.
Core Responsibilities
• Execute building shell programs across roofing and building envelope, ensuring work is completed on time and to standard
• Drive coordination with vendors and field teams to plan, activate, and complete repairs and capital projects
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with field teams, leaders, and vendors to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and expectations
• Monitor program execution using data and field feedback to identify risks, delays, and performance gaps
• Proactively identify and resolve barriers to execution, escalating issues as needed to maintain progress and timelines
• Partner with vendors to ensure quality of work, adherence to scope, and strong service performance
• Maintain and improve program processes, tools, and documentation to drive consistency and clarity in execution
• Ensure accurate project activation, milestone tracking, and closeout in partnership with portfolio and systems support resources
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, improve field experience, and enhance service levels

About You
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in vendor management, retail, property management, or related field
• Ability to operate independently and manage priorities with limited day-to-day direction
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and navigating evolving priorities
• Strong communicator who can align partners and set clear expectations across teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive execution through others
• Analytical and organized, with a focus on solving problems and improving processes
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
