The Closing team continues the momentum from the team’s day ofhard workto finish strong; they take care of the guest until the doors close each night.They prioritizebased onguestneeds, have a deep understanding of each leader’s vision for their business, and have fun with the team whileexecutingclosing routines.

Guestservice fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture across thestore
Retailbusiness fundamentals, includingdepartment sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management,processefficiencyand improvement
Supportingdaily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
Promoting and engaging aroundvarious benefits,offeringsand services

Ability to adapt to different guest interactions andsituations
As aClosing Expert, no twodaysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:
Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:
Greet:
10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave
4ft: greet the guest, smile andinitiatea warm, helpful interaction
Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude
Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the servicestandard.
Consistently execute closing routines to deliver aclean and organizedstore.
Support business area teams in completing closing tasks as dictated by daily priorities and guesttraffic.
Support consistency in closing experience and routinesin partnership with the Closing TeamLeaderor ETL.
Work in all departments to ensuresalesfloor isfull, zoned and in stock forguests.
Follow processes accurately with attention to detail,monitorown progressand accurately prioritizetasks.
Operate powered equipmentsafely andonly ifcertified.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyandcompliance.
Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier,order pick up (OPU),Drive-up(DU)Orders and Returns,andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws.
All otherdutiesbasedon business needs.

Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperatehandheldscanners, andother technology equipment as directed.
Work both independently and with a team
Resolve guest questions quickly on thespot
Willing to educate guests and engage around products andservices
Attention to detail andfollow multi-stepprocesses
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment andaccomplishmultiple tasks within establishedtimeframes

Accurately handle cash register operationsasneeded

Scan,handleand move merchandise efficiently and safely, includingfrequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to44poundswithoutadditionalassistance fromothers
Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights,weekendsand holidays); come to work when scheduled,work scheduled shifts and take required mealand rest breaks
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
